Local Beverage Company seeks Part-Time Sales/Biz Development Person (Austin)A local, hand-crafted beverage company is looking for a unique person to help us with business development - basically, we need help in growing our customer base and getting our product into more restaurants and stores. You can currently find our product at places like Torchy's Tacos, Royal Blue Groceries and Thundercloud Subs, to name a few - we're in about 40 locations total around the Austin area.Currently, this job is commission only, but commission is paid on all orders for any account you place for one full year. If you help to build our customer base quickly, we can discuss an hourly wage in addition to commission. To give you an idea, a local chain restaurant with four -- six locations might order 30 -- 50 cases per week. Commission on each case is 12.5%, so for that one local chain, you would earn $75 - $125 per week. (We also have random opportunities to work events, do product demos, help with product production, etc. for hourly pay if you're interested.) This is a great opportunity for a student or maybe even a young stay at home parent with a semi-flexible schedule looking to supplement their income.Local restaurants, bars and stores will be the primary target with consideration for offices and companies as well. (Example -- our product is offered at Austin Google offices. There are a lot of offices, especially technology companies, funded start-ups and real estate development offices in Austin that stock their break rooms for their employees.)You can set your own hours although restaurant contact will need to occur between 9:00 - 10:30 am and 2:00 - 4:00 pm. You can also pick your own targets, but I will want to review them first.
